What started
out as a scrap-metal and recycling operation in 1946, evolved into a steel
wholesale distribution center, and ultimately into a multi faceted corporation
of three diverse segments; Pemco Metal Distribution, Pemco Metal Fabrication
and Pemco Consulting.
In
the past people often found it hard to believe that located in Pembroke,
Pemco was able to successfully compete with larger steel companies in the
major urban centers. Today, Pemco’s continued success has brought
about an opportunity for expansion, allowing Pemco to be competitive not
only from its corporate headquarters in Pembroke but also from two new
operations in Ottawa and Toronto.
Pemco’s
